INSTRUCTIONS

GVF YOURSELF AND CREATE YOUR OWN GVF POSTER IN FOUR SIMPLE STEPS!

1. Select a picture to upload.

For best results, choose a portrait-style image (no more than 516px wide x 675px high).

Once you have the correct image, hit the 'Continue' button.

If you wish to choose another image instead, simply click the 'Choose File' button again.

 

2. Crop your image

Click the image to add the points where you'd like to crop it. The shaded pink area will be the part of the image that will be used in your GVF poster.

If you make a mistake, simply click the 'Clear' button at the bottom of the image to start again.

Once you're happy with your crop points, hit 'Continue'.

 

3. Apply the colour filter

Choose one of the four GVF colour filters to apply to your image. Once you've chosen a colour, you can use the 'Adjust Brightness' feature to get your image looking its best!

Move the image in the the correct position simply by clicking on it and draging it about.

Once you're happy, hit the 'Continue' button.

 

4. Share your poster with your friends!

Invite your friends with an email, share your poster through Facebook, Twitter or MySpace, or simply copy the embed link to add the image to any web page.

Once you've completed your image, you will also receive an email that contains your image.

You can select and right click on the image to save it as a jpeg to upload to your facebook profile etc!

 

Using your GVF image on facebook

There are several different ways that you can use your GVF poster image on your facebook profile.

After you've GVF'd yourself, you will see a facebook logo on the 'share' page - this will add it to your wall.

You will also receive an email automatically that has your GVF'd image inserted in it. You can right click & save this image as a jpeg and then upload to your photos page/profile pic.

Once your image is added to the GVF Yourself gallery, you will be able to select the 'share' button to email it again or add it to your facebook page etc

 

Trouble shooting

If you are having trouble getting GVF'd, check the below for some commmon fixes.

  • Photo size - make sure the image file is less than 1.5MB in file size
  • Photo dimensions - no more than 516px Wide by 675px high. Resize in your photo editor
  • Photo positioning - you can drag your photo around the frame to get the best spot
  • image filter - try all of the different filters and use the 'Adjust Brightness' to suit your photo

Your use of the Good Vibrations Festival Yourself (GVFY) application is subject to the following Terms of Service, and Jam Music reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice or acceptance by you. By using the Service, you signify your irrevocable acceptance of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of the terms of service, you have the right to chose not to use the GVFY application

1. By uploading your image to the GVFY application you certify that you have the right to copy & distribute this image for this purpose, and that the content is not offensive, unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.

2. Any images created by you through and by the GVFY application may be used by, replicated, reproduced & published by GVFY and Jam Music for any use including, but not limited to, marketing & promotional uses. By using the GVFY application you hereby agree that all copyright subsisting in the newly created GVFY image is owned by Jam Music for the world and in perpetuity, however you still retain ownership over the original image.

3. Jam Music has the right to remove any images that do not abide by these terms of service or are deemed otherwise inappropriate, without any prior notification, at our discretion.
